Canon 28: The Worthies

From time to time, there will be those who are seen to be heroic in some aspect of the faith. These the Church will declare are worthy of emulation. The faithful may then imitate them in that aspect and know that they do well.

The Patriarch shall have the power to declare anyone they have personally known as Worthy after their death.

The Cardinal Prefects shall have the power to declare anyone Worthy by the unanimity of their votes.
