Town of Thora's Landing

Thora's Landing is a small town and widely regarded as a Freehold in the middle of the province of Aristia in the Free Provinces. Whether it remains a Freehold because of its defensive pallisade or because the Baron of Aristia can't be bothered with such a small inhabitation is not known.

The town was founded by Thora, a Northruner shield maiden who retired to that locale. The town is now run by her eldest son, Tured. Other than Thora's Hall, the Landing boasts only an Inn (Geerte's), a General Store (Erlinger's), a Forge (Yanshu's) and a Mill (Chen's). Other than the proprietors of those places, there are perhaps 30-50 residents.

Ald Dovaris

The City of Old Dovaris is located in the Free Province of Aristia.

Its White Prince is Hurbert Fieldstone, originally of Collonia.

Its Black Prince is reputed to be Nino Vitelli.

In 5230 the Cardinal Prefectory of the Church of Westrun was built in the city and became its defining feature.

Its most popular attraction is the Fighting Pits which are brick lined arenas in the central market. Each provides a ring of about 25' diameter.
