Arachnor

Arachnor was a being of the old world -- an Aenir who surrendered its estate to live upon Erenth as an Aeniresa. Later forgetting its estate and becoming Agathinon. Greatly diminished in strength, it has become an agent of chaos, acting as a wild and raging beast of gargantuan size. 

Appearing as a massive black spider, this deity is known for its delight in receiving elven and human sacrifices. Its powers include the ability to summon 30 phase spiders per day, the power to make all arachnids obey, and the ability to transfer the powers of a spider to its most powerful high priest.

Arachnor plagues especially the Mistwood and Greywood of Westrun. It can only be slain for up to a century’s time before the evil imprecations of its priests revitalize it and send it forth once again.

Arachnor was last slain in the year 5286 and is not slated to return for 100 years.

The college of Falerian is located in the Greywood of Westrun.

Falerian, often called the Stag, is an elf.

The Primus is Doria. The students wear white robes with brown hoods.

Magister Falerian

Falerian is the Llorfiril of Durrmalas, the Grey Wood. He is known for two passions: magic and wine. He is also known for wearing impeccably white robes. Grey elves are known for their intelligence and haughtiness and Falerian did not become their Llorfiril by being the least of those. He is a powerful wizard and a genius, and he knows it.

His tower was designed by using magic to bend and influence the growth of an ancient intelligent tree. That tree was tamed and walked, in its youth, to the center of a mana well in the Greywood. There, it took root and there it has set for many millenia, unbowed and unbroken. The Tree, is known as Aesira and reportedly has the power to transport beings to any other place with trees and to raise the dead.
