Peers of Brede

The chapel of this peerage is located in Belfalas of Talir.

Under an edict of the High King, the Peers of Brede have a license to arrest and punish, and even execute, those that they suspect of breaking the law.

Brede was a loyal paladin sworn to serve the deceased Patriarch Cronaste from the time he was first appointed Prefect of Bolden. When that Patriarch died under mysterious circumstances, Brede became convinced that the Theives Guild was responsible. He formed a Peerage dedicated to the eradication of the Guild. His Peers are men of great power and with little regard for theivery.

The symbol for the Peerage is a red saltire.

College of Bigby

The college of Bigby is located in the City of Belfalas of Talir, one of the Eight Kingdoms, in the Land of Westrun.

Bigby is human.

Member of the Circle of 8.

The Primus is Dirik. The students wear red robes with yellow hoods.

The Oxmen have rated the college at 22 gold bars.

The City of Belfalas

The city is located in the Kingdom of Talir in the Land of Westrun.

Perched on the northern borden of that Kingdom, it is widely regarded among other Talireans as a lawless and wild place, though that is owing to its relaxed (by Watersedgian) standards and regulations.

It is best known for its most famous resident, Bigby the Magister.

Once an evil hedge wizard, it is said that Bigby's encounter with the Dweomersecte showed him the error of his ways. While he cannot necessarily be called "good," Bigby is very invested in preserving the balance of good and evil. Since he believes that the amount of evil in the universe outweighs the good, he is often "forced" to side with the good.

He is a member of the Circle of 8.

Bigby has an abiding love for the black wine of Southrun and has opened a thriving import business interest in Westrun which is spreading Bigby's kafe across the Eight Kingdoms.
