MALENIR
While most of the Aenir celebrated the new creation, some did not. For some who had chosen not to become Aenirasa imagined that those which had, were given the better lot. Chief among the aggrieved was Agellas. In him was roused the great envy and pride that were his recurring weaknesses. Fueled by his own dark thoughts, he wanted to destroy everything that had been established. He stirred many of his fellows to dissent. And using clever words and subtle plans, he twisted their minds and caused them to feel discontent where so many had once felt joy. For some, this discontent was so deep that in time they even professed hatred for Erenth and everything else that had been made. They despaired of living in the celestial city of Solenth because it had been positioned to gaze upon the handiwork of the Ere All continually.
When their protests had reached a pinnacle, they came fully assembled before the Ere All and begged to be loosed from the sight of the object of their supposed torment. Pledging Agellas as their leader and spokesman, they petitioned the Ere All to make another creation and one that followed more closely after their own desires. But the Ere All would not. Instead, he reached out and called forth the void in the midst of the Forge. It seemed, to all who saw it, to be a great darkened pit of ash. He warned those assembled that those who departed would be Malenir, "Broken People," and have no part of him or his grand work, forevermore.
