Song 2: The Song of the Aenir
The Ere of All brought forth a Great Hall
in the Void and created a Court to fill it.
To some he gave rank and privilege,
of others he made servants and craftsman.
He gave to each
according to his own unfathomable will.
While they were different in degree
they were one in kind
and they called themselves Aenir.
The Hall was filled with the majesty and glory
of the Ere of All
and that place, the Aenir called Erenes.
