It was Gorhald who answered the call of the Vyrum and went to war against the Ancient Powers of the Deep. And Gorhald who remained after the rulers of the Besnir were slain on his right hand and left. Gorhald left the Dry Rift with the Witch Fairy Enya and bore her up when she would lay aside her life at battle's end, and be ended by the waves rather than abandon he who was slain at her side.
And Gorhald was Regn for five and ninety and one hundred years, before he died as one beloved of many nations. He was mourned by Dwarves and Besnir alike, and the feast at his passing was the last that any who were not Dwarves entered Dynkyr.
He was succeeded by Fyveld the Regn.
