A Call for Second Breakfast

In the morning light, when the sun doth rise,
We halflings wake with hungry eyes.
For though we ate at dawn's first light,
Second Breakfast is our true delight.

(Chorus)
Oh, the joy of Second Breakfast fair,
With bacon sizzling in the air.
Eggs and toast, and honey sweet,
Our hunger and hearts, they both do greet.

(Verse 2)
We gather 'round with friends so dear,
To share in laughter and in cheer.
With mugs of ale and cakes so fine,
Second Breakfast is a feast divine.

(Chorus)
Oh, the joy of Second Breakfast fair,
With pastries piled beyond compare.
Jam and butter, warm and neat,
Our hunger and hearts, they both do greet.
