Southrun

Southrun is primarily dominated by the Sultans of Byza and Midir and the nomadic sheikhs of the Khard. Rumors also abound of a vast civilization on the south side of the Khard, which has long lost contact with the rest of Erenth and is reportedly made up of the descendants of the ancient Empire of Barasa. In addition, Southrun is home to Elven Woods of Dravomalas; the Dwarven Duns of Dalurdig and Duergara; the Gnomish Strongholds of Neblodi; the Halfling Shire of Ridgedale and the Goblin Freehold of Karkkarthkarag.

Southrun is that area which lays just south of the Inner and Outer Seas and stretches the southern expanse of the Seas of Despair across the Khardish desert and to the Roiling Sea. Its terminus in the South is not well-established, but some lettered sailors have told tales that it extends into an area called the Winterlands, which would seem to rival the Glacial Frontier of Northrun.
