Sworn Brothers of the Canon

The chapel of this peerage is located in the city of Bolden in the kingdom of the same name.

The Sworn Brothers of the Canon are an independent Peerage who operate largely outside of Church organization. They have taken a three fold vow of poverty, chastity, and humility.

In keeping with Canon 31, the Brown Brothers have as their spiritual leader the Sworn Sister Aegrith -- a Northrun healer and reputed Druidess. In general, they take the Canons of the Faith as their rule and guide, but do not hold to the hierarchy of the Church itself.

In order to qualify as one of the Brown Brothers, the members must have been cleric in the church of Westrun, and risen to the level of Vicar (8th level) before switching classes and becoming a Paladin. At third level they would be eligible to join the peerage.

When not armed and armored, the Sworn Brothers look a great deal like Monks. They go about in brown cassocks with simple knotted ropes for belts.
