A Definition of the Region

Below the level of Lands, there is another unchartered category of political subdivision known as the Region. They are portions of Kingdoms that are usually defined and bordered by geological partitions that may cross any number of the more strictly defined subdivisions of land.
Regions do not necessarily have rulers, and those that do are typically considered titles of honor, rather than of actual control.
