Its Primogenitor was Kilyre the Magister. He was famously driven from Menea in his youth and took up residence in Bolden under the tutelage of the Wizard Karne. Eventually living long enough to become magister in his own right and elevated to nobility by a greatful King of Bolden. None of his children have shown any affinity or propensity toward those ancient studies, however.

Its verse is, "Truth through insight."
