Canon 43: Marriages

Here are the rites and oaths to be used by the Clerics, Regular and Extraordinary, of the Church of Westrun in the matter of  Consecrating all marriages.

KNIGHTS SECULAR
Inasmuch as it is possible for any man and woman, freeborn and unencumbered, to take one another in marriage, the number of such unions has greatly proliferated in all the known world. While many of these unions are properly taken, yet the Church can neither vouchsafe their legitimacy, nor attest to their character, nevertheless all may properly be known by the honorific, Man and Wife.

As you may have cause to bind two in marriage, it is proper to use the ceremony following:

Having heard the man and woman give their free and unencumbered desires to take the other in marriage, have them both confess their wrongs; then have them kneel and recite the oaths following using these words:

MAN
Here do I, by all that is holy, swear to take this woman as my good wife; to keep her safely; to sire her children; to provide for her board and lodging; and to keep my troth.

WOMAN
Here do I, by all that is holy, swear to receive this man as my good husband, to promote his House to produce his heirs, to support his name; and to keep my troth.

Note that all marriages not undertaken in the presence of a priest are considered "hedge marriages" and remain so, until such time as a priest shall ratify their union.
