Lochro the Sage

Sometimes called the Geographer, Lochro was a Sage of the Wyden college, when that college still had sway and advised all the High Kings of Westrun.

Lochro was born in 4993 and served the cause of knowledge into his advanced years before perishing in 5092. He had traveled widely in all Four Lands and could personally attest to much of what he had written.

The author of some two score works, it is believed that nearly a dozen still survive and are reproduced by Scribes. His work on Cities and Towns is still considered seminal.

His name is not without detractors, some find his work on Laxatives and Husk Fibers to be a matter outside of his expertise and containing many falsehoods. Others claim it is a clever satire of the High Throne itself. Copies of it, when they are found, are considered very valuable among licensed sages of every stripe.
