Canon 14: The Besnir

THE BESNIR
Then the Ere All said to each of the Seven Lords, "Now each of you has grown in power and craft so you shall each make a people for me. Do what you will and show forth your handiwork."

Then each of the Seven Lords of the Aenir made a people as they were bade to do. These are called the Second Children or Besnir in High Speech. Among them are numbered the demihuman races -- some which still live and some which have vanished forever. Each of these people made by the Seven Lords, were in turn given the chance to rule Erenth, fairly and justly, but each failed. 

The last of these were the Vyrum -- the most rapacious and foulest of all the Besnir. So it was that the Aenir were sent to put an end to their rule.

AENIREDE

These Aenir who came after and who brought judgement were called the Aenirede. Mighty beings they were and like unto gods for many. Titans some called them and they were of two orders: the Greater and the Less.

Of the Greater Order there were four: Tera, Aron, Oshuron, and Uler.

Of the Lesser Order there were six: Algorn, Mane, Porphyl, Malephus, Syllia, and Girzon.

So the crown of Erenth passed through the hands of the Besnir to the hands of men, where it now resides. And the priests of the other races became curates of their histories and caretakers of the graves of their ancestors. With these Curates we have no traffic and over them the Church claims no authority. For each of the Besnir will see to their own race in their own way and none of them shall likewise interfere in the course of man's history nor in the care of their souls.
