Hikmara the Wise

Hikmara was the son of Amir and the Witch of Salibar. He was not particularly strong, nor wise, nor particularly sought out for worship; at least, until he found the Mind of Masuul, a magical gem which he keeps in his turban. This magical stone increases his wisdom and so long as he wears it, his wisdom compares to the highest level among all who are revered in Asharahlafillah.

He is very insightful and quite capable of reading a person's emotions, motives, and moods quite easily. He understands what matters in a situation, and what doesn't. He is utterly incapable of being fooled or manipulated in any fashion.

Despite his great wisdom, Hikmara is not particularly intelligent. He struggles with complex theories, does not understand math, forgets details and historical facts. He gets lost easily, cannot fathom puzzles, and harbors a deep distrust for all magic and technology, excepting the Mind of Masuul, of course. He is wise enough to know that his only claim to fame comes from his favorite possession.
