Drash

"Drash shaped the Vyrum to love beauty, and to make art."

The Aenire were the highest order of the servants of the Ere All that dwelled in the region of Erenth. They were deceived into creating their own races of people and bringing them into the world to dwell. They gave up their own power to do so and lost their ability to take physical form.

"When the Malenir brought war to Solenth, the might of the Aenire was marshalled, but it was not equal to the task because of the fearsome weapons which the Malenir possessed. Then Yomal departed Solenth in secret and made entreaties to the untold numbers of Aenir who dwelled across the great expanse of Erenes.

“All know that you bear no love for our celestial city and that you regard it as mere folly. But for the love that you bear the Ere All and his creation, this love that we Aenire share, would you not hasten in this the hour of our greatest need?”

But the Aenir heard him not for they regarded Solenth not. But one of the Aenwel called Drash heard the plea of Yomal and he summoned still others to serve beside him. 

“We will return with you and fight for this Solenth which you have built. For though we esteem it not, the Creator was pleased to see it; and perchance he will be pleased all the more to see it spared.” 

So it was that Yomal returned with a host of Aenwel and Drash was at their head. They relieved the beleaguered Aenire, and together the two armies of light overcame the army of the darkness. Then the Malenir were bound and brought for judgment.

Then Drash joined the Aenire. Both he and his host dwelled thereafter in Solenth and considered it a poor substitute for their previous station, but they had taken that fate in trade to save those who had been imperiled. And so, though they had no hand in the making of the celestial city, they saved it from ruin, and were there always counted as honored guests.

For this reason, Drash was among the Aenire when they were charged with the making of the Besnir. It was Drash who fashioned the Vyrum and poured into them his own life’s energy.

After the fall of the 6th Age, so many Vyrum were killed and their power returned to Drash, that he was able to escape the world of Erenth and make his way to Drasenth, where he resides among its glittering spires and welcomes those spirits still coming into his company."
