The Old Ones

Long ago, before the elves kept time, before the races were created by the Seven Lords, great powers lived on the face of Erenth. The Church of Westrun says that these powers were once agents of the Ere of All. If so, they have forgotten anything good or decent and now know only rage.

Over the millennia, many of the Old Ones have been defeated or destroyed by great heroes from among the many peoples of Erenth, including some Titans.

There are few who remain into the Seventh Age. One such power is Valritra, often called 'Rita by the Sea Jacks and is known as the "Mother of Krakens"

Another is Zaratan, the giant tortoise and island which is home to Virita's arch nemesis Oshuron.

Others include Maegara, Tarrasque, Leviathan, Gojira, and Arachnor.
