Blueblades

Blueblades are mushrooms that are highly luminescent and put off a faint blue light which is not disruptive to Darkvision. They attach themselves to metals (excepting platinum, gold, silver and copper) and seem to survive on strong emotional energy of any kind... love, hate, fear, aggression, comfort. Their spores can remain dormant and undetected for years at a time, falling off and attaching themselves in places where great emotional swings were experienced and metal was left behind.
